Vicarious Trauma Inoculation (Pt 1)

Service Description

This 6-hour session programme provides the first part of an exploration of vicarious trauma and how this affects us in our lives both at work and at home. It provides practical therapeutic skills that can be utilised long after the course ends and will help increase resilience in those attending. Part 1 Taught via interactive discussion - What is Vicarious Trauma and what effects can it have? How does vicarious trauma affect me? Strategies for self-care. Price includes: ● 6 hour face to face session ● Experiential personalised learning in a relaxed environment with no more that 8 participants ● Practical therapeutic skills that they can continue to employ long after the sessions end ● Refreshments during session ● Evaluation Part 2 of the course will take place on Friday 21st March and can be booked separately. (N.B. this venue does not currently have access for those with mobility issues).
